SimpleToolbox

Built for People Who Need a Real Answer

Mission

The Simple Toolbox is a free collection of calculators, converters, and reference tools built around one principle: give users an accurate result without asking for anything in return.

No account. No email. No uploads to a server. For client-side tools, your inputs stay in your browser and are never transmitted or stored. We use aggregate analytics to understand which tools are most useful — nothing that identifies you or your inputs.

The site is maintained by Alamzeb Khan, a digital product builder based in Spring, Texas. Every tool published here is reviewed for formula accuracy, tested against known inputs, and scoped with clear assumptions and limitations before it goes live. If a tool makes a claim, that claim is tested.

The Simple Toolbox is one of several digital properties in the portfolio. Sister sites include EmailLeaked.com, a personal data breach checker, and WordyLab.com, a word game and vocabulary tool suite.

If something is broken, wrong, or missing — use the contact page. We read every message.

Who built this

Alamzeb Khan, founder of The Simple Toolbox

Alamzeb Khan

Founder & Editor · Spring, Texas, USA

Alamzeb founded The Simple Toolbox in 2024 after years of frustration with online calculators that demanded signups, served intrusive ads, or quietly uploaded financial data to remote servers. He personally writes and audits every calculator's formula, cross-checks outputs against industry-standard references, and hand-reviews every blog post before publication.

Our story

The first tool on the site was a budget planner — built in 2024, after yet another online budget calculator asked for an email, a password, and access to a connected bank account. The goal was modest: one calculator that ran in the browser, did the math, and forgot everything the moment the tab closed.

That became a JSON formatter. Then a unit converter. Then a mortgage calculator. Today, 100+ tools later, the rule has not changed: if a tool does not need a server to do its job, it does not touch a server. If it does need a server (we have almost none of these), we say so in plain language on the tool's page.

What "privacy-first" actually means here

"Privacy-first" is an overused phrase, so here is the technical meaning on this site:

  • Client-side execution. Calculator logic is JavaScript that runs in your browser. Open Developer Tools → Network tab while using any tool; you will see zero outgoing requests containing your inputs.
  • No account system. There is no signup, no login, no "save your data to the cloud" feature — because there is no cloud storing your data.
  • Aggregate analytics only. We use Google Analytics via a Partytown web worker to understand overall traffic patterns (page views, referrers, aggregate geography). This runs in an isolated worker and collects no tool inputs, no keystrokes, no form data.
  • No IP logging on form submissions. The contact form posts to a Cloudflare function that forwards the message to our inbox and does not retain the originating IP.
  • No remarketing pixels, no third-party trackers. The only third-party scripts on the site are Google Analytics (via Partytown) and Google AdSense (on supported pages, once approved). Both are disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

How we make money

Full disclosure: as of May 2026, The Simple Toolbox has earned $0 from this site. It is a one-person project funded by Alamzeb Khan's independent work.

The plan going forward is Google AdSense display advertising. Ads — when they appear — will be served by Google and will be clearly distinguishable from tool content. Ad cookies are disclosed in the Privacy Policy.

We do not and will not: sell user data (we have none to sell), run paid placements disguised as tool recommendations, or include affiliate links without a clear "affiliate link" label on the same page. If a future post ever includes an affiliate link, the page will say so in the first paragraph.

Editorial standards

Every calculator is cross-checked against a primary source. Every blog post is human-edited by Alamzeb Khan before publication. AI may assist with first drafts, but no page is published without a human pass. Corrections are acknowledged within two business days.

Verify it yourself

You do not need to trust any of the above. You can verify every claim:

1.

Check network traffic: Open Developer Tools (F12) → Network tab. Use any tool. You will see zero requests carrying your inputs leave your browser.

2.

Check cookies: Developer Tools → Application → Cookies. Only analytics / AdSense cookies are set, and both are disclosed in the Privacy Policy.

3.

Read the source: Right-click any page → View Source. The tool logic is right there in the HTML and JavaScript — nothing hidden on a server.

This is not a privacy policy. It is a verifiable architectural fact.
